Hitler and The Nazis – Tour to Berlin Nuremberg and Munich
7 days/4 night from only £359pp
Munich and Nuremberg offer the chance to visit sites associated with the early days of Hitler’s rise to power and the first years of the Third Reich. Our groups have a guided walking tour of Munich to introduce the main sites, such as the beer hall where Hitler attended his first party meeting, the building from which Göbbels launched Kristallnacht and the headquarters of the Nazi Party.
In Nuremberg, you have a walking tour of the Rally Grounds where Reifenstahl documented the immense propaganda rallies of the mid-thirties in her film “Triumph of the Will”, and a visit to the Third Reich Documentation Centre in Speer’s New Congress Hall. If your studies extend to the end of World War 2, you may also visit the Courtroom of the Nuremberg Process to complete the arc of this period of history.
Berlin offers many relevant visits from the architectural propaganda of the Olympic Stadium to sober documentation of the period of the Third Reich and to memorials to the victims of tyranny.
