World War 2 Landing Beaches – Tour to Normandy
4 days/3 night from only £269pp
Our tours to Normandy offer a new hands-on ‘Living History’ approach to teaching groups about D-Day. Groups experience a full day expedition in period trucks (some of which actually landed on the Invasion Beaches in 1944), led by a team of experts including historians and retired generals. Pupils will visit the Landing Beaches as well as other key sites, and the day includes demonstrations and educational activities with the chance to handle kit, uniform, provisions and other memorabilia.
A fantastic experience for pupils and teachers alike!
