Understanding the Holocaust – Tour to Berlin and Krakow

This tour follows the path the Jews took from Berlin to the Auschwitz death camp and their fate. The genocide of the Jews was a culmination of a decade of Nazi policy and state enforced racism. Our tour provides an insight into the warped reasoning behind the genocide.
Day 1, Flight to Berlin. Private coach transfer to your accommodation.
Day 2, Morning guided walking tour of the city to introduce the main sights including the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. Afternoon guided visit to the Haus der Wannsee Konferenz where in 1942 the fate of Europe’s Jews was decided.
Day 3, Morning guided visit to the exhibition ‘The Road to German Democracy’. Afternoon guided visit to the Holocaust Memorial and visitor centre. Coach transfer from Berlin to Krakow.
Day 4, Guided tour by private coach to Auschwitz 1 and Birkenau for an extended guided tour.
Day 5, Morning guided walking tour of Kazimierz and the Ghetto including Schindler’s Factory Museum. Coach transfer to airport for return flight to UK.
