The site employed 1000 miners a day at its peak. Your journey is by mine train which takes you to the mineshaft, where you will discover the sorting and crushing building. From there, you will be accompanied by a former miner for the "descent" into the 450 metres of galleries. Ten coalfaces show how the profession evolved from the 19th century to the 1990s, with genuine working conditions recreated by machinery in operation. - In Bev Breweries (Belgium)
