OLYMPIC 2012 WORKSHOPS FOR THE HISTORY DEPARTMENT The London 2012 Olympics provides a unique opportunity to examine the regeneration of London's East End and the potential for a sustainable Olympics. Day trips by coach (inc. workshop) from £25.00pp Overnight packages by coach (inc. workshop & tour) from £75.00pp HISTORY WORKSHOPS All change in Stratford! – Your students will explore Stratford's past, using photos, video and maps to bring the history of the Olympic Park and the surrounding area to life and then discuss how that will change the area with the help of the Olympic Park legacy plan. This workshop is suitable for KS3. The KEY STAGE workshops are educator led and located on the edge of the Olympic site, with magnificent views of main Stadium; Velodrome; Aquatics centre and the Village. The Education Centre was built using recycled shipping containers and the indoor classroom offers a secure, heated space and exclusive access to the viewing platform during your visit.
