AMSTERDAM & THE DUTCH COAST

A visit to the beautiful capital city of Amsterdam, with its network of canals and cycle routes, has much to offer - from world-renowned art museums to seeing the production of its famous cheese and clogs, and there is of course the 'roller coaster capital of Europe', the Walibi World theme park. It is possible to base your stay either in the city, or at a nearby seaside resort so that you may also enjoy the clean sandy beaches.

    One of Holland's top tourist destinations, the Zaanse Schans is a traditional village on the banks of the river Zaan established by relocating local houses, windmills, storehouses and barns to form a remarkable replica of a typical Zaanse village of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. There are also traditional craftshops, museums and you may take a boat trip on the river.
